Banking & Treasury Disclosures

Last updated July 6, 2026 · Canary Financial Inc ("Canary Financial")
Canary Financial is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services are provided by Stripe Payments Company and its partner bank, Fifth Third Bank, N.A., Member FDIC. Your account is held at the partner bank.

1. How your accounts work

Business checking and savings accounts on Canary Financial are Stripe Treasury financial accounts held at our partner bank. They support ABA routing/account numbers, ACH and wire transfers, and spending via Stripe Issuing debit cards drawn from your balance. Canary Financial provides the technology and user experience; the partner bank holds your funds and provides the underlying banking services.

2. FDIC deposit insurance

Funds held in your Treasury account may be eligible for FDIC pass-through deposit insurance up to applicable limits through Fifth Third Bank, N.A., subject to the bank's terms and to your completion of identity/business verification. Pass-through insurance depends on the funds being placed at an FDIC-insured institution and on satisfaction of FDIC "pass-through" requirements. FDIC insurance protects against the failure of the insured bank; it does not protect against the failure of Canary Financial, Stripe, or any non-bank party, and does not cover losses from fraud or unauthorized transactions.

3. No interest unless stated

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Treasury accounts (including those labeled "savings") do not pay interest or yield. If a yield program is offered in the future, it will be described separately and may be provided through the partner bank or another arrangement.

4. Verification, holds & limits

Opening and using an account requires identity and business verification (KYC/KYB), including beneficial-ownership collection. Transfers and card transactions may be subject to limits, review, and holds for fraud, compliance, and risk reasons, as determined by Stripe and the partner bank.

5. Cards

Debit cards are issued under Stripe Issuing and the applicable card network and partner-bank programs, and are governed by the cardholder terms presented at issuance.

6. Agreements that govern your account

Your use of banking services is also governed by the partner bank's deposit account agreement, the Stripe Treasury / Connected Account terms, and the card program terms. In the event of a conflict between this summary and those agreements, those agreements control.

7. Contact

Questions about your account: support@canaryfinancial.com. Errors or unauthorized activity should be reported promptly per the account agreement.
